What couples ask us most
What does a wedding planner do vs a coordinator?
A wedding planner supports you through decisions, design, and logistics over time. A wedding coordinator focuses on execution, stepping in during the final weeks to manage details, timelines, and vendors so everything comes together seamlessly on your wedding day.
How early should we hire a planner or coordinator?
Most couples hire a planner shortly after securing their venue, often 12 to 18 months before the wedding. Coordination support typically is booked about one year out, allowing time to understand your plans, align vendors, and prepare for a smooth wedding weekend.
Do we need a planner if our venue included a coordinator?
Venue coordinators focus on the venue itself, including the space, policies, and on-site logistics. An independent planner or coordinator supports the full wedding, managing vendors, timelines, and flow across the entire day so nothing falls on you or your guests.
